You've had Sangria, but have you had GRILLED Fruit Sangria? Grilling the fruit adds an incredible depth of flavor to this classic beverage. And it's easy to throw the grill when entertaining. It's important to keep those party-goers hydrated.

Grilled Fruit Sangria

Grilling fruit caramelizes the natural sugars and brings out deep, rich flavors.

Step-By-Step

  1. Grill slices of green apple, lemons, limes, and oranges. Just a minute or two on each side.
  2. Mix Rosé and a dry white wine such as Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio in a pitcher with fresh mint.
  3. Pour over glasses of ice and grilled fruit slices. Garnish with berries and a sprig of rosemary.

Fruits that grill well for Sangria: citrus, apple, peaches, cantaloupe, watermelon, mango, pineapple, and strawberries.

Garnishes: berries, mint, basil, rosemary, lemon, and orange twists.
